AQUASYS High Pressure Water Mist for Road Tunnels

AQUASYS H2O³ systems drive water through stainless steel pipes and specially designed nozzles at high pressure, generating an extremely fine water mist. These little water droplets vaporise in the heat of the fire and thereby multiply in volume.

This increase in volume has two major benefits:
1. Vaporisation process removes energy from the fire, thereby cooling the source of the fire.
2. The volume increase displaces the oxygen feeding the fire.
Furthermore, the multi-layered surface of fine water droplets shields the heat radiation so that the fire stays in its origin and does not spread to the surrounding area.

AQUASYS uses normal water which is beneficial for fire fighting as it is harmless to people and the environment. The system can be activated immediately after detection without any intervention time. In this way AQUASYS turns conventional H2O into highly effecient H2O³, which can even be used to fight oil fires!
