Click here for footage from Sky TV about the Buncefield Oil Depot Fire in the UK, which started just north of London on 11 December 2005.

All of the water, 32,000 l/m mixed with foam, is provided by Hytrans high volume pumps, in this case 9 Hytrans Hydrosub 150 units with many kilometres of 150 mm hose. The water comes from open sources including the Grand Union Canal and a lake about 1 mile from the fire.
